Families Centre
Wittering Families Centre welcomes children and families from both the military and civilian community living in Wittering and the surrounding area. Services and activities are offered in a welcoming and accessible way to children and families. The purpose of the Centre is to provide support, advice and information for the parents of children from birth to five years and families with primary school aged children.
We provide a high quality and varied service for 0 - 5 year olds, which is accessible for all. We focus on the needs of children and families in consultation with parents/carers, children, staff, Wittering Primary School, RAF Wittering Community Support, SSAFA, health visitors and other partners in the community.
Currently, on our timetable, we are offering a wide range of free services which includes, Special Needs Support Group, Ben Stay & Play, Bumps to Babies, Sensory, Baby Yoga, Baby Massage, Childcare Providers, Community Catch Up and a TinyTalk session.
Our Family Support Workers also facilitate Time to Talk and Wellbeing Club within school. Working alongside the Early Help Team to deliver Family Support.
The Centre does not provide child care or breakfast and after-school clubs.
The Families Centre is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, all sessions within the centre are free of charge
