Year 5 visited Burghley House as part of their history unit on the Tudors. The children had a fabulous day, touring and learning about the house, learning a Tudor dance, playing Tudor games, making a Tudor pocket and looking at replica Tudor artefacts giving them an insight into the lives in Tudor times including that of Queen Elizabeth 1 and Sir William Cecil. The children all behaved impeccably and we were very proud of them.
